It's called the robber's fire & is in our back yard. I have my sewing machine packed in my truck in case we get the evacuation warning. Gregg & I ran through what to take if he is at work. Grab the antique quilts, the cat. I really hate summers due to the fear of fires.

I have been keeping you in my thoughts and prayers even though we have not been in touch, my friend. I saw the pretty pink twister heart quilt at the top of your blog and smiled. Then I saw the smoke on the mountain and my heart just went out to you ... {{{{{{{Hugs}}}}}}} I have had some difficulty using the new blogger format, too, in part because I had not blogged for awhile and everything had changed. I could not find anything either. I am a little more comfortable with it, but I am still having problems navigating and doing tasks that used to seem so much easier. Good to see you posting, though ... :) Pat
ReplyDeleteHi Rebecca, It's been a long time since I've had a moment to check out your page. I was surprised to see the fire picture. Hopefully it stayed away from your home. My brother has been staying at our younger brothers place out near Cresent City so I havent been updated with what is happenning near you. He was told by a neighbor that a bear got into his things... made a mess.. tore into his freezer.. etc. So far no fires out his way. Hope you and Gregg are doing well. And I hope you'll get this blog figured out so that I can see what you're up to. I'm not too crazy about the new format either. Why do they have to go and mess up a good thing, huh?! Take care, Deb
