It's finished

I am pleased to say I have finished my "Over The River" from Crabapple Hill. The moment I saw this pattern I knew I had to make it. I just love the trees & houses in the snow. It was so fun to pull fabrics from my stash for this quilt.
I just need to piece the backing so I can get it mailed off to Mary at Quilt Hollow who is going to quilt it for me.

I have started another one for my brother & his wife, only this next one I am making in reds. I think it will be pretty too. Just hope they like it.

Now my friends who see this are probably saying, " what no pink"? Well, that is for my next stitchery pattern, so stay tuned.

  1. Great job, Rebecca! I love the simplicity of the black and white theme.
I just finished my quilt top last weekend. I should take a picture and post it. I still need to run to the store and get some batting so I can finish it up.
I have to admit, the actual "quilting" part of a quilt project is not my favorite part though.

  2. Oh Rebecca! How totally pretty. YOu did a great job and I love this. Absolutley love it. Delightful. Makes me smile, friend. Truly.

  3. I am contemplating getting the kit for this pattern at our local quilt shop....she has it made up in browns...and the kit is now marked down...but my pile of unfinished projects is really big....really, really big. She also has the next pattern made up in kits in the reds.....so I know which one you are talking about.....it looks like fun...but a LOT of work! :)

  4. Hi Rebecca....

Your quilt has turned out "Beautifully"...you have done a wonderful job on it and since I have personally seen it in different stages....I can testify to that!! See you soon...

    Love, Penny

  5. That turned out SO beautiful, Rebecca!
